Peer-to-Peer

Peer-to-peer, often shortened to P2P, describes a network where participants connect directly to one another instead of going through a central server or company. On the Malairte network, your wallet and node talk to other people’s computers around the world, sharing transactions and blocks between equals. No single machine is in charge, and removing any one of them does not stop the network. This is what allows Malairte to work as digital cash without a bank in the middle: payments pass from person to person, verified by the wider network rather than approved by an authority. The peer-to-peer design is a core reason the system is resilient, open, and hard to censor or shut down.
